On April 9, 2025, representatives from the DCC-OCC visited the Experimental School Affiliated to Ocean University of China and held discussions with School Party Branch Secretary Li Chunlei and other faculty members. The two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on how to effectively improve ocean literacy among primary and secondary school students, how to integrate diverse resources into marine education initiatives, and reached preliminary consensus on future areas of collaboration.

This visit was part of the DCC-OCC series of engagements with member institutions of the "Ocean Decade on Campus alliance”。 Through these visits and exchanges, the DCC-OCC aims to gain a deeper understanding of the member institutions' unique strengths and their needs within the alliance, enabling targeted efforts to advance ocean literacy initiatives under the framework of the Ocean Decade.
