The Decade Advisory Board (DAB) Meeting was successfully organized on 2-4 May, 2023 in the headquarter of UNESCO, Paris, France. The Board, consisting of 15 expert members, was established at the end of 2021. The new UN agency members who will sit on the Board for 2023, from the Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations, the International Maritime Organisation and the World Meteorological Organisation attended the Meeting, too. The Meeting deeply analyzed and discussed several important strategic issues including reviewing submissions of the Decade Programmes, drafting the 2030 Vision, 2024 Ocean Decade Conference Planning and promoting the engagement of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDC)。
