On October 18th, 2022, Zhao Haozhi, Deputy Secretary of Qingdao Municipal Committee and Mayor, led a team to visit the First Institute of Oceanography（FIO）。 Zhao Haozhi felicitated the successful approval of the "United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development （2021-2030）" （Ocean Decade）Decade Collaborative Centre on Ocean-Climate Nexus and Coordination Amongst Decade Implementing Partners in P. R. China （DCC-OCC）， which was hosted by the FIO, and hoped that the DCC-OCC could give full play to its own strengths, promoting Qingdao's further participation in global ocean exchange and cooperation, and providing wisdom and solutions for global ocean governance.
