In order to promote the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development （2021-2030） （Ocean Decade）， Mega-Delta Programme, deepen national and international cooperation, and clarify the research priority and promotion ideas, on December 3, the State Key Laboratory of Estuarine Coastal Research of East China Normal University hosted the online seminar for domestic partners of Mega-Delta Programme. Nearly 100 experts from more than 20 institutions, including East China Normal University, Ocean University of China, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhejiang University, Tongji University and the First Institute of Oceanography of the Ministry of Natural Resources, attended the meeting and presented delta or estuarine related progress with their own research areas. In the final discussion session, the experts agreed that the Mega-Delta Programme is a high starting point for joint research with international partners on the common and individual problems of different deltas, serving the Belt and Road Initiative and contributing to the UN Ocean Decade.
